Thank you to everyone who helped by selling and buying ducks for our annual fundraiser. The rain held off, and this year we broke all records! The RGLSC would like to say thank you to a dozen 5th and 6th graders from Ms. Arnault's class at RGS for coming to the Cross Street Garden on Earth Day to rake and rake and rake more leaves! Thank you to Suzanne Huard and Judith Nelson for talking to the class beforehand about the project and for helping Ms. Arnault and co. with kid-wrangling. Also, thank you to Mike from the town for coming to pick up several truckloads of leaves and debris and taking them to the transfer station for us! Up next: mulching! The water was running and the ducks were flying. The duck dumpers were getting wet in the falls, the duck wranglers were working hard with their nets, and the rain threatened but didn't rain. It was a perfect day with lots of cheering for the little yellow ducks A special thanks to our duck dumpers, wranglers, sellers, and counters!
